A little bit about me!
My name is Krystal Nadauld. I am 23 years old, and I have done just about everything under the sun it seems. I got my first job at 17 working fast food. Since then I have worked as a preschool teacher, I’ve worked in retail, I’ve worked as a house cleaner, a Customer Service Representative for an insurance company, I’ve worked as a hostess at a restaurant, and most recently I was a CNA at a hospital. There were things I loved and hated about all of my jobs, but I am so excited for this next chapter.
Ever since I was a little girl, the only thing I’ve been sure of was that I wanted to get married and be a mom. I have gotten married, and I am so thrilled (and terrified) that this month that dream of being a mom is finally becoming a reality.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, knitting, painting, drawing in my sketch book, and trying new things. I love nature! I love going for hikes, watching the sunset, or even just sitting and admiring the stars. I love thunder and lightning storms, and listening to the rain on my roof. I love going for walks and playing in the snow, and I love to travel and admire the beauty of different places. I love watching the leaves on the trees change colors in the Fall, and I love sweater weather with hot coco and a warm blanket next to a fire in my fireplace (I guess I’m basic).
About Our Family
I married my husband Jacob in May of 2018 in Oregon, and we are having our first little girl this December. In June of 2018 we moved from Oregon to Idaho, where we bought a house on 2.8 acres.
To say that it has been an adjustment would be an understatement! I lived in the same 3 bedroom apartment with my mom and brother for 10 years before moving to Idaho, so being a homeowner (especially with land) has been quite a ride.
In the last year and a half I have been learning things like how to prime a well, how to can foods, how to chop firewood, etc. Now I am so excited to continue on this adventure with a little one, and I hope you’ll come along with me, because it’s going to be fun!
